Courtroom Insight is the only online directory featuring attorney and peer reviews of expert witnesses, mediators, arbitrators and judges. Directory profiles are enhanced by self-reported biographical information, submitted performance evaluations and relevant written judicial opinions about expert witness testimony. In addition, users may access critical information about published and unpublished legal challenges to expert testimony.

Challenge Data

The primary difference between Courtroom Insight and other published directories are reviews and ratings. Clients and peers have the unique ability to review every individual profile on the site. Assessments of an individual's performance in and out of the courtroom are used to derive an aggregate public rating.

Sample Review:

I used [him] as a consultant in business loss and litigation matters. I found him to be quite knowledgeable, and he provided me with an excellent analysis and work product. He was also very prompt in providing me with assistance, and responsive to my questions.

Sample Review:

She charges a lot for her reports and she argues with opposing counsel. In one case, the judge reprimanded her for inconsistencies between her recorded IME and her report. Not good.

Courtroom Insight users are able to post reviews anonymously to encourage honesty and accuracy in the evaluation. Importantly, every attorney and judge user on the site is authenticated. This means that readers can trust reviews posted by these users, even if posted anonymously.

Reviews posted within the past six months are visible to all site visitors. However, users wishing to read older reviews must purchase an Individual Subscription.

In addition to public reviews, organizations such as law firms and insurance companies may sign up for a Group Subscription which enables members to write and share private reviews. Groups leverage our existing knowledge sharing platform to easily access public and private content about the litigation professionals included in the Courtroom Insight directories.

Experts and neutrals are encouraged to solicit reviews from attorneys for whom they have worked previously. A public endorsement in the form of a positive review is an excellent way to generate new opportunities. Professionals who claim their Courtroom Insight Profile are also able to publicly respond to reviews written about them, if they so choose.
