Why can I trust the reviews posted on Courtroom Insight?
Courtroom Insight promotes an honest and ethical exchange of information based upon actual experience working with professionals in the litigation industry. Users are required to abide by the site's posting guidelines as defined in the Terms of Use and are encouraged to provide honest feedback, including constructive criticism where warranted, written in a professional style and demeanor. Public reviews written in violation of the terms and spirit of the posting guidelines may be flagged by site users and removed from the site at the Company's discretion.

Why does Courtroom Insight authenticate attorney and judge users?
Courtroom Insight Team manually validates attorney and judge membership requests so viewers can be confident that reviews by these users, even if posted anonymously, are written by verified attorneys and judges. "Attorney" and "Judge" account types are restricted from claiming profiles and writing reviews during the authentication process.

Courtroom Insight is free! As a registered user you have the ability to:

  • Save lists of favorite professionals
  • Claim a profile that lists your basic contact information and specialty as a service provider
  • Write reviews of individuals and resources

To unlock the true value of Courtroom Insight, upgrade your account by purchasing a subscription or a premium profile.

For only $249 per year, users can subscribe to Courtroom Insight and read all reviews, including those older than six months. To purchase an individual subscription, Click Here. Organizations wishing to purchase five or more subscriptions qualify for discount pricing and additional site features, such as the ability to post reviews privately. For only $99 per year, experts, mediators and arbitrators can publish expanded profile information including a photo, a full CV posting or link, up to 10 education and license fields, publications listing, professional experience, affiliations and more. How do I become listed on Courtroom Insight?
To become included in a Courtroom Insight directory, register for a user account and then claim your profile or create a new one if your information is not already listed. This can be accomplished during the registration process or through the My Account page.

How do I claim a profile?
Experts, mediators and arbitrators may claim their professional profile on Courtroom Insight. Judges are not eligible to claim profiles, however they may Contact Us to edit their profile information.

To claim a profile first register for a user account. Next there are four different ways to claim a profile:

1. During the registration process, a list of unclaimed profiles with similar information will be presented to you. If you locate yourself, click Claim this Profile next to the one that matches.

2. If you do not find a match during the registration process, click Add My Profile as New on the bottom of the suggested profiles page. Your contact information will be added to Courtroom Insight's professional listings.

3. If you choose not to claim your profile during the registration process, login to your account and perform a search for yourself in the appropriate directory. Once found, navigate to your profile page and click Claim this Profile.

4. If you cannot locate your profile through a search, click Add a Profile from the search results page. This will allow you to enter basic contact information for a new profile. Once this information has been submitted, click View the profile, and then Claim this Profile.

How can I edit my profile information?
To edit your profile information sign in to your account and click My Account and then Edit Profile. Update your information and click Save when finished. Judges are not eligible to claim profiles, however they may Contact Us to edit their profile information.

What is the difference between a claimed profile and a premium profile?
A claimed profile is free to all service providers and includes:

  • Basic contact information
  • Three areas of specialization
  • A short profile summary
  • One educational credential
  • One professional license

For only $99 per year, experts, mediators and arbitrators may upgrade to a premium profile. Additional benefits include:
  • Preferred placement in search results
  • Photo
  • Full CV posting or link
  • Expanded contact information including website and email addresses
  • Multiple areas of specialization
  • An expanded profile summary
  • Up to 10 professional licenses
  • Up to 10 education credentials
  • Publications listing

How do I purchase a premium profile?
First, claim your basic profile. Then simply go to the My Account page, click Purchase Premium Listing and enter your credit card information. You will receive an email notification once approved.

What if I can't find the professional I am looking for?
If you cannot find the professional you are looking for, he or she may be listed under a different specialty or may not have a profile. If an expanded search does not yield any results, click Add a Profile on the search results page and enter the basic contact information for the new profile.

What if my specialty is not listed as a category?
Courtroom Insight’s categories are designed to capture the wide range of expert witness specialties. If you do not see your exact specialty simply select the closest match and then enter your specific area of expertise in the “Your Profile” section. The powerful keyword search returns matches from your entire profile so your information is still easily available to prospective clients. As a suggestion, you may consider reviewing the categories and keywords used by recognized colleagues and peers. Please Contact Us with new category suggestions.

How do I submit a review?
To submit a review, first login to your user account. Then go to the profile of the professional or resource you would like to review and click Review this Person/Resource. Simply complete the review and submit.

Can I submit a review anonymously?
Yes. Courtroom Insight offers reviewers the option of marking each review as "Anonymous." When this option is selected, reviewer information is hidden from view and only user type ("Attorney," "Judge," "Expert" or "Other") and submission date is listed with that review. Reviewers are reminded, however, that the Terms of Use remain in effect, which state in part that users will not post reviews that are:

"false, misleading, unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent or otherwise objectionable, including without limitation any recommendation, endorsement, or review of an individual with whom you have not had direct, personal experience in a professional context or as a client of such individual."

Can I submit a private review? Is it really private?
Members of group subscriptions may elect to submit reviews as either private or public. If the private option is selected, then only other approved members of the group subscription may view the review.

How can I access hidden reviews?
Reviews posted within the past six months are visible to everyone, but reviews posted earlier than six months are only visible to site subscribers. To purchase an individual subscription, Click Here. Can I write a review of myself?
No. Users are not allowed to review their own performance in an effort to preserve the integrity of the review system.

How do I respond to a review written about me?
Sign in to your account and go to the reviews tab of your profile. Click the Respond Here link next to the review and submit your response. It will appear at the bottom of the corresponding evaluation.

Does Courtroom Insight monitor or delete reviews?
Courtroom Insight does not monitor reviews; however, the Courtroom Insight Team checks flagged reviews. If a review is deemed inappropriate it will be removed from the site. Please review the Terms of Use for specific guidelines.

How do I alert Courtroom Insight that a review or profile is inaccurate?
Users may flag reviews and profiles deemed in violation of Courtroom Insight's posting guidelines as defined in the Terms of Use. This is accomplished by clicking on the Flag links at the upper right corner of each profile and review. Content receiving a sufficient number of negative flags is subject to further review.

Can I delete a review that I wrote?
No. If you would like a previously written review removed, please Contact Us.

Can I delete a review written about me?
No. You can write a public response to any review written about you. If you feel a review is inappropriate, you can flag it to notify the Courtroom Insight Team.
